VGI Vacuum Rapid Solidification Belt Casting Furnace

Model introduction

The VGI series vacuum rapid solidification casting furnace melts, degasses, alloys, and refines metal or alloy materials under vacuum or a protective atmosphere. The melt is then cast into a crucible and poured into an tundish before being transferred to rapid-quenching water-cooled rollers. After rapid cooling, thin sheets are formed, followed by secondary cooling in a storage tank to produce qualified microcrystalline sheets.

The VGI-SC series vacuum induction casting furnace is available in various sizes: 10kg, 25kg, 50kg, 200kg, 300kg, 600kg, and 1T.

Customized equipment can be provided to meet specific user process requirements.

Product Features:

1. Achieves a cooling rate of 102–104℃/s, rapidly forming sheets with a thickness of 0.06–0.35mm;

2. Secondary cooling within the storage tank greatly prevents sheet adhesion;

3. Wide water-cooled copper rollers with stepless speed adjustment, resulting in adjustable and uniform sheet thickness;

4. Vertical front-opening door for convenient unloading;

5. High-speed rapid cooling roller quenching system with independent water cooling, ensuring uniform crystal formation;

6. Automatic pouring control with adjustable flow rate settings, enabling constant flow pouring;

7. A reamer crushing device on the front of the copper rollers ensures uniform pulverization of the sheets, achieving homogenization. A blowing cooling device significantly reduces waiting time;

8. Semi-continuous production can be designed according to user needs, reducing production costs, increasing production capacity, and improving equipment utilization efficiency.

1. Rapid thermocouple contact temperature measurement before molten steel pouring;

2. Rapid cooling with quenching rollers, maximum linear speed up to 5m/s;

3. The quenching roller speed can be set according to the material's process requirements;

4. More effective control of sheet thickness, maintaining a thickness between 0.06 and 0.35mm;

5. Automatic gas filling (inert protective gas) system with automatic low-pressure gas replenishment, greatly preventing material oxidation;

6. Homogenization can be achieved on the water-cooled turntable;
